Attention all surviving Pilots. The Signal achieved total synchronization. The central infrastructure is gone. High Command, the central logistical hubs, and the station AI's are dead, scuttled or consumed by the pathogen. The Great Dissolution is complete, and the stars as we knew them have gone cold.
But we are still here.
The old Empire, Federation, and Jericho command structures no longer exist to send orders or maintain central hangars. The sector is now a patchwork of isolated pockets, rogue relays, and deep-space sanctuaries. What remains of our fleet survives only because independent commanders and local engineers refused to let the fire die.
Revised Protocols for the Reconstruction:
Localized Networks
Central authorization is obsolete. You must now route your neuro-interfaces through localized firewalls and independent server relays, but first replace the old beacons. Establish connection to trusted community coordinates or launch your own local command node.
Autonomous Operations
You are no longer fighting under a unified banner. Every sector you enter is maintained by fellow survivors. Protect these player-operated outposts - they are the only light left in the dark.
The old order has fallen, but the Signal did not erase us. The galaxy belongs to the pilots who keep the reactors running.
Set your target coordinates. The frontier is yours again.
