If you use the game through Steam, run prepare_shared.bat after the new changes, then just start the game again. 

If you are not running the game from Steam, run prepare_shared.bat, then restart the game, then click "Launch Server" on the bottom right of the client (alternatively launch_mongodb.bat manually), then start the game again.

You can leave the server window running throughout game restarts.

Always click "Run" after making changes. Always hit the "Enter" key when changing values in the database.
