What it does

A small companion window next to the game. It only reads the chat log Star Conflict already writes; it never touches the game itself.

Real-time translation

New chat lines appear within seconds, the original and the translation one under the other. The source language is detected automatically.

Your channels, your choice

Every channel is translated by default. Untick the ones you don't need; they are still shown, just not translated.

Reply in their language

Type a message, pick a language, and the translation is copied to the clipboard, ready to paste into the game chat.

Game dictionary

A community dictionary turns game slang and abbreviations into plain words before translating. Add your own terms, or sync the community list from GitHub.

Chat history

Every message is stored locally with its translation. Browse by session or day, or export to CSV.

Free translation, and how to get more

Translation runs through MyMemory, a free service that needs no key. It has a daily limit:

  • 5,000 characters a day without an email, shared by your internet connection.
  • 50,000 characters a day with your own email in Settings. No account, no confirmation mail.
  • Translate fewer channels to make the limit last longer.

When the limit is reached, chat keeps working and translation resumes by itself after the reset.
